14x51mm AC Fuse Holder

Chinese manufacturer brand CNKA was established in 2004, covering an area of over 10000 square meters and employing more than 120 people. As one of the manufacturers of 14x51mm AC fuse holders in China, CNKA is one of the earliest production enterprises in China with nearly 18 years of experience in the production and development of electrical equipment. The company has successfully developed various industrial electrical products, including circuit breakers (MCB, RCBO, RCCB, ELCB, etc.), fuses, control units, distribution boxes, AC contactors, relays, cables, and thousands of other electrical components.

CNKA 14x51mm ac fuse holder Introduction

The 14x51mm AC fuse holder customized by Chinese supplier CNKA is a disposable circuit protection component, usually made of low melting point lead tin alloy, zinc, copper or silver, forming wires or thin sheets. When the current in the circuit exceeds the safe level, the metal wires or plates inside the fuse will melt due to high temperature, interrupting the circuit and protecting it from damage. After the traditional fuse is blown, a new fuse must be manually replaced to restore the circuit function.

CNKA 14x51mm ac fuse holder Feature

1.When protecting stable loads without starting process (such as lighting circuits, resistors, electric furnaces, etc.), the rated current of the fuse should be slightly greater than or equal to the rated current in the load circuit.

2.To protect a single long-term motor, the rated current of the fuse can be calculated based on the maximum starting current or using the following formula: IRN ≥ (1.5-2.5) IN. Here, IRN represents the rated voltage of the fuse, and IN is the rated current of the motor. If the motor needs to be started frequently, the coefficient in the formula can be increased to 3-3.5, and the specific value depends on the actual situation.

CNKA 14x51mm ac fuse holder Differences from circuit breakers

Fuses and circuit breakers both provide short circuit and overload protection for circuits, sharing the common ability to prevent short circuits during electrical abnormalities. The working principle of a fuse is to allow current to flow through a conductor, which will become hot. When the temperature reaches the melting point of a conductor, it will melt, cutting off the circuit and preventing damage to electrical appliances and wiring. Due to the accumulation of heat required for melting, fuses also provide overload protection; However, once the fuse blows, it must be replaced.

In contrast, circuit breakers achieve short-circuit protection through the magnetic effect of current (through electromagnetic release), while overload protection is based on the thermal effect of current. Unlike fuses, circuit breakers do not require component replacement after tripping, allowing for resetting and reuse.
